Hip & Knee Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr Martin Laird is a Sydney-raised, NSW trained, Spanish speaking orthopod. He is an alumnus of both Sydney University and UNSW. After completing his general orthopaedic and trauma training in NSW, he undertook a Fellowship in hip and knee replacement at St Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
He has admitting rights at both Liverpool and Fairfield Public Hospitals as well as Sydney Southwest Private Hospital.
He is very excited to be serving Sydney”s Southwest. His main interests are hip and knee surgery (particularly joint replacement and ligament reconstruction) as well as orthopaedic trauma (i.e. injuries, to both adults and children).
When not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children, travelling, as well as playing field hockey and ultimate frisbee.
